The September 30 update, titled "Chapter 1. The Land of Sand and Frost", is a small Abyss-focused patch. Artifact Occupation War start times move to 9:20 / 9:50 / 10:20 PM for Groups 1 / 2 / 3 (still Wednesday and Saturday), and to curb marathon fights, a Dimensional Core that is not killed within 8 minutes of the battle starting receives a new "Waning Power" debuff that lowers its Damage Tolerance and Double Resist. The Abyss bosses that follow the war in Chaotic Lower and Middle Reshanta are pushed back to 9:45 / 10:15 / 10:45 PM, Guardian General Nachma's spawn times shift for Groups 2 and 3, and Enraged Guardian General Nachma now correctly receives Waning Power. The only class change is a pair of Sorcerer tooltip corrections, plus four fixes: Fire Temple's Black Smoke Murute jump landing, two Snowfield of Sorrow Triton exploits, and the Hidden Cube sound range.

9월 30일 클라이언트는 약 18 GB 다운로드 분량이지만 그 안에 새로운 콘텐츠는 거의 없으며(에셋 경로의 0.5%), 패치 노트도 없습니다. 다만 이 클라이언트가 담고 있는 것은 다음과 같습니다: 열 개의 문자열만 있고 별도 공지도 없는 Soul Bind 각성용 Auto-Sync, 테이블은 있지만 텍스트는 없는 완전한 Class Conversion 창 세트, 새로운 "Trust" HUD 미터, 그리고 Outland 맵이 11개 파일에서 526개로 늘어난 것입니다. 여기서 이미 다룬 내용은 제외했으며, 모든 항목은 이 빌드에서 새로 추가된 것인지 아니면 수 주 동안 클라이언트에 남아 있던 것인지를 명시합니다.

전체 공략: Watchdog Quapo의 구슬 폭발 링 점프, Necromancer Dunka의 부활 페이즈와 Soul Caller 끌어당기기, 그리고 최종 보스 Ferocious Horn의 출혈 웅덩이 관리, 분신 돌진 차단, Blue Light of Destruction 구슬 확인까지.

필드 잡몹/옵션 진행과 주자 전략, 이어서 세 명의 보스: Siliator of Deceit의 차크라 충돌, Ruthilis of Pain의 사분면 번개 웅덩이, Talisra of the Void의 색 보호막 전멸 패턴과 빛 창 DPS 체크.
