AION 2 — March 18, 2026 Update Notes

Major update: New HUD Editor and Combat Power display, Preset System overhaul (SET1/2/3), Sanctuary weekly attempt increases (Rudra & Erosion 2→4), 28-day attendance event, Dungeon waiting room race filters, class fixes and QoL improvements.

New: Dungeon Waiting Room — Race Settings

• Race visibility setting added when creating rooms: "All Races" or "Same Race Only"
• Race setting cannot be changed after room creation
• My Race filter button added to Expedition / Transcendence / Sanctuary UIs
• Same-race rooms display a race icon; party invitations limited to same race

New: HUD Editor

PC only — not available on mobile. Settings saved per-character on client.

• Freely reposition, resize, hide/show UI elements
• Adjust grid spacing, UI scale, and chat font size
• Batch-select and move multiple UI elements at once; group/ungroup support
• Some elements support size, height, and direction changes
• Help guide available via [i] button in the editor

New: Combat Power

• New stat displayed alongside Item Level — toggle between the two
• Based on character stats only — consumable and skill buffs are excluded
• PvE-focused weighting: stats with greater PvE importance contribute more

Preset System Overhaul

• Changed from "batch equip" to SET1 / SET2 / SET3 system
• Mixed presets now supported — e.g. Gear slot 1 + Arcana slot 3 + Skill slot 2
• Covers: Equipment, Arcana, Skills, Title, Wings
• Temporary equip: changes apply immediately but are not saved until you press "Save Changes" or switch sets

Sanctuary

• Abyssal Forge: Ludra Clear I: Rudra — weekly attempts increased 2 → 4
• Abyssal Forge: Ludra Clear I: Corroded Decontamination Facility — weekly attempts increased 2 → 4
• Rudra mid-boss reward changed to Abyss Box (Bound)
• Erosion Purifier mid-boss reward changed to Erosion Box (Bound)
• Eroded Specter's Bracelet: +2.5% damage amplification added
• Erosion Purifier entrance requirement adjusted to Item Level 3500

Material Transformation

• Odyle Energy (Bound) weekly limits:
  • Per-character: 4 attempts/week
  • Per-server: 12 attempts/week
• Enhanced equipment can now be used as Material Transformation material (confirmation window added)

Gentle Breeze Merchant Shop

• Items available: Odyle Energy, Abyss Lower Rift Stone, Unknown Gap Challenge Ticket
• Per-character weekly limit: 5 → 4
• Per-server weekly limit: 8 → 12

Improvements

• Arcana maximum capacity increased to 800
• Tuning stone selection auto-clears when a skill is applied
• Crafting: 100% success rate items no longer interrupted by damage
• Weapon enhancement / Divine Stone effects now apply even without an outer weapon equipped
• English voice service language added
• Expelled party/force members can no longer rejoin via recruitment link
• World map: Kybeles teleport failure no longer closes the map window

UI Improvements

• Target UI: [View Info] button now works for other-race characters
• Crafting / Material Transformation: Favorite filter auto-clears if the recipe becomes unavailable
• Character selection screen: Legion name displayed where applicable
• Shop — Gentle Breeze: Bulk purchase options added (+10, +100 units; limited items +5, +10)
• Sanctuary waiting room: Class icon tooltip now shows character names
• Quick Join: 1-second reuse cooldown added
• Dungeon rooms: Party leader bump-up feature added
