Bot Countermeasures

Period: Feb 4 – Feb 10

• 50,474 accounts permanently banned
• Remaining malicious users account for less than 5% of total Active Users
• Account creation limit reduced: 30 → 10
• If CAPTCHA is triggered, KILL action becomes available

Season 2 Matching Servers

• New matching begins after scheduled maintenance on Feb 11, 2026
• Matching servers may change depending on season operation status
• Matching is based on overall combat indicators, not server population alone
• Indicators include: Abyss Kills, PvP participation, Artifact captures
• Major content such as Sieges and Abyss is shared across matched servers

Abyss Updates

Artifact Occupation Battles

• Changed to fixed time slots
• Lower / Upper Abyss battles now run simultaneously
• Schedule: Tue / Thu / Sat at 21:00
• Separate max player caps for Lower Abyss and Upper Abyss

Abyss Rank Rewards

• PvE damage bonus vs Abyss monsters increased

Death Penalty Changes

• No direct Abyss Point loss on death
• Instead, ranking points decrease

Abyss Point System

• Rank-based modifiers unified — all ranks receive +30% Abyss Point bonus
• Same-target restriction: daily → 1-hour
• After Abyss Point cap (50), points earned via PvP only
• Ranking point loss adjusted for General rank and above

Abyss Rift & Occupation Changes

• Efficiency imbalance between the 4 outer Abyss Rift rooms improved
• Faction Base Rift Portal: when an occupation battle ends 3:0, Abyss Rift entry becomes available — portal spawns at the village/base entrance

New Expedition Dungeon — Cradle of Nihility

• Exploration mode unlocked
• Conquest mode unlocked: Normal and Hard

Odyle Systems

Expedition Odyle Energy Cube

• Rewards for Heroic Sync Stone Fragments (Bound) increased 2×
• Rewards for Unique Sync Stone Fragments (Bound) increased 2×

Crafting & Equipment Changes

• Eased acquisition of crafted weapon materials
• Lower-tier Dragon materials now drop from Odyle Cubes (character-bound)
• Tier 4 dungeons now grant Tier 1–3 materials (character-bound)
• New material conversion: Moonlight Shining Orichalcum can be converted into dungeon equipment from the same series
• Limited to 4 times per server until Mar 25

Odyle Drop Improvements

• From Tier 4 Expedition Conquest (Normal / Hard):
• Drop chance for high-grade Odyle (High Purity, Pure, Radiant) significantly increased

Equipment Cost Adjustments

Heroic Equipment Enhancement

• Based on +20 enhancement:
• Cost reduced from ~100M Kina → ~40M Kina
• Breakthrough enhancement costs reduced to Unique-grade levels
• Success rates unchanged

Retroactive Refund

All previously spent enhancement Kina will be refunded.

Inheritance Changes

• Kina required for Inheritance changed to 0
• All previously spent Kina will be refunded

Potential System (Future Update)

• Additional PvE amplification bonuses
• Activated when using equipment from the same dungeon set

Soul Binding & Binding Systems

Soul Binding System

• Can be applied to equipment with 100% Soul Binding
• Consumes 2 Philosopher's Stones
• Grants additional Soul Binding effects
• Some equipment is not eligible

Status Effect & Resistance Adjustments

• Status effects and resistance stats now apply correctly on trigger
• Crowd control categories clarified:

Shock Removal Changes

• Shock removal can now clear Freeze and Fear
• Shock Resistance increase changed to General Status Resistance increase

Survival Willpower

• Increases Status Resistance
• When hit by Shock / Freeze / Fear: Damage Taken ↓ for 5s, Status Resistance ↑ for 5s
• Status Resistance bonus decays after 1s
• Recast: Damage ↓ 1 min, Resistance ↑ 5s

Revitalization Contract

• Increases Status Resistance
• When HP ≤ 10%: Instant HP recovery
• When hit by Shock / Freeze / Fear: Status Resistance ↑ for 5s (decays after 1s)
• Recast: HP recovery 1 min, Resistance ↑ 5s

Anti-Bot Measure

If any party member has reached the daily Kina cap, the entire party cannot gain loot in the open world. This measure was introduced to counter botting.
